The first Augustinian mission in lowland Nueva Ecija was founded in Gapan in 1595. It is home to a Roman Catholic church of Byzantine architecture built from 1856 to 1872.

How to get there:

Buses going to the Cagayan Valley pass through Cabanatuan and San Jose Cities,which are along the Pan Philippine Highway,as well as buses going to Aurora and Bongabong.
