Capones Island can be accessed by banca from the town of Pundaquit. There are a number of breaks on the island which are all reef breaks. This Island is famous for its average yet manageable surfs. In the right season,the island's reefs offer well formed breaks for advance surfers. Pundaquit however has waves perfect for beginners ranging from 3-9 ft during particular seasons. This can be heaps of fun!

The est time commonly runs between the months of July and December but the best time to enjoy such adventure is just after a storm.

How to get there:

From Manila it is a two to three hour air conditioned bus trip. The buses leave from Manila every hour from 06:00am. These buses will take you through to Olongapo which is the southern gateway,or further,depending on which bus you catch.

From Olongapo buses ply the coastal highway all the way up to Santa Cruz,at the northern tip of Zambales. The buses are frequent and easy to ride in. You can even catch glimpses of the surf out of the left hand side of the northbound bus.
