Paoay Church   (Paoay, Ilocos Norte, Luzon)

Paoay Church is part of the UNESCO World Heritage List.  The Church was completed in 1894 and is built of coral blocks and stucco-plastered bricks. Its architecture is a mix of Gothic,Baroque and Oriental. It is a historic Church in that during the Philippine Revolution of 1898 it's coralstone belltower was used by the Katipuneros as an observation post.

 

HOW TO GET THERE:

By Air: Take a plane from Manila to Laoag.

By Land: Serviced by major bus lines every hour that ply the Laoag-Manila route.
