SULAY-BASYA FESTIVAL

The festival was conceptualized to honor St. John the Baptist,the patron saint of the municipality. The coined title manifests the religious and cultural heritage of every Saranon. Sulay means "getting wet" and basya means to intentionally douse water on someone or a group of people.

How to get there:

There are daily flights from Manila to Iloilo City or Bacolod City. Miagao is a 45 minutes drive from Iloilo City.
