Subic Forest Watershed Reserve   (Subic, Zambales, Luzon)

Subic Base Management Association (SBMA) used to be the primary US Navy Base in Luzon until it was turned over the the Philippine Government in 1991. Its rainforests have been preserved for decades by the US and Philippine Governments and remain intact and accessible. Wild monkeys and birds abound among the original towering rainforest trees. There are guided tours given by local AETAS through the Jungle and Environmental Survival Training (JEST) originally given to American and Filipino soldiers for jungle warfare.
