Brown Rock   (Busuanga, Palawan, Luzon)

This is called brown rock because it is surrounded by brown-colored rocks. It is 50 meters high and is easily identified. The eastern and western sides of the rock make interesting dives with a good coral garden on the western side.Parrot fish are common and hammerhead sharks measuring up to 2.5 meters long have been seen.

Best Time: October to May

How to get there:

It is accessible by plane from Manila to Busuanga. From Puerto Princesa City,it can be reached by taking a jeepney or bus to Taytay,then by sea from Taytay to Coron and by jeepney or bus from Coron to Busuanga.

Travel time : 1 hour and 30 minutes flight from Manila to Busuanga. In Busuanga,30 minutes by jeepney to Decalasiao Wharf and 3 hours by pumpboat to Calauit.
