Awash Reef   (Nasugbu, Batangas, Luzon)

The south part of Awash has an incredible amount of soft and hard corals with huge fan corals and coral heads all over the area. This area can keep the avid diver occupied for hours exploring all the coral heads and small reefs that are scattered around the edge of the area. Plenty of fish of all sizes adorn the area.At the North part there hard coral cover this area. Morays are seen swimming and the rare Frogfish is sometimes glimpsed.

How to get there:

The province of Batangas is 110 kilometers south of Metro Manila,from where it is accessible by land transportation. The commercial buses of BLTB,JAM,Tritran,Batangas Express Liner,Triftman Liner,Biñan transportation,ALPS,and CJC Transit serve the riding public. Take a bus from the Pasay City bus terminal to Nasugbu. An ordinary bus ride costs 55 pesos (one-way) while an air conditioned one costs 72 pesos (one-way). The bus will take you to the bus terminal near Nasugbu's municipal hall. From there you can get a tricycle or jeepney to take you to your destination.
