Situated at the top of Mt. Samat in Pilar town,Dambana ng Kagitingan (Shrine of Valor) is a giant bell built in loving memory of the soldiers who died while defending their motherland against aggressive Japanese invasion during World War II,including those who perished during the infamous Death March in 1942.
