Subic Bay Aqua Sports/Scuba Shack   (Subic, Zambales, Luzon)

Subic Bay Aqua Sports/Scuba Shack located inside Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) can meet all your diving needs. Wreck diving is the most popular in this area as several Japanese ships are on the ocean floor. There is also an ocean 'aquarium' where you can view tropical fish in their natural setting.

Subic Bay is one of the best wreck dive sites in Asia. The choices are exceptional. Most wrecks are remains of World War II in the 1940's. Among the more frequently visited wrecks/marine life homes are the USS New York,a 19th century battle cruiser; and the two Spanish era hulks - El Capitan and San Quentin. The San Quentin is considered notable because it has remained in good condition up to the present.

How to get there:

Subic Bay is easily accessible from Manila, you can either travel by road, ferry or plane.

By Land: Depending on the traffic, weather or time you leave Manila, travel time can be anywhere from 2 to 6 hours. You can  catch an air-conditioned bus from Manila to Olongapo City..

By Sea: From Manila you can also have a relaxing ferry trip that will cut your travel time substantially. Leaving Manila from the Philippine Cultural Centre pier on Roxas Boulevard, the trip takes about 50 minutes, but do note that in bad weather the service will not operate.

By Air: Flights from Manila to Subic International Airport or Cubi Airport, take about 35 minutes. Without a doubt,if you want to get there quick with little fuss, flying is the way to go.
