There are two mains shows worth seeing. The dolphin and false killer whale show is really something. First the dolphins do all kind of jumps, and dance across the water. The false killer whales follow with stunts of their own. The human handlers ride aboard the animals getting tossed unhurt back onto the pier. You view this 40 minute show in the comfort of tiered-spectator stands which are thankfully shaded. The background views of Subic Bay are priceless. Adults and children leave the show with smiles on their faces.
How to get there:
Subic Bay is easily accessible from Manila and can be reached by road, ferry or plane.
By Land: Depending on the traffic, weather,or the time you leave Manila, travel time can be anywhere from 2 to 6 hours. You can catch an air-conditioned bus from Manila to Olongapo City.
By Sea: From Manila you can take a relaxing ferry trip that will cut your travel time substantially. Leaving Manila from the Philippine Cultural Centre pier on Roxas Boulevard, the trip takes about 50 minutes, but do note in bad weather the service will not operate.
By Air: Flights from Manila to Subic International Airport or Cubi Airport, take about 35 minutes. Without a doubt,if you want to get there quickly with little fuss, flying is the way to go.
