The Irosin Eco Park,located in Barangay Patag,is a 3-hectare lot for the municipality's multi-layer nursery,orchidarium,herbarium,composting facility,hog breeding station,demo farm and model garden. It is also home to a children's park,camping and concert grounds,a religious grotto,and a multi-purpose hall for seminars,meetings and conferences. The Eco Park is an ideal destination for educational trips to the area for its concern for environmental protection and agricultural development,particularly on the fact that it is the foremost final disposal site for the residual  solid waste of Irosin. As a showcase dumping facility,improvement work and facilities are in place for the safe storage of waste and prevention of environment pollution.

How to get there:
FROM MANILA

By Air:
Take daily flights of Philippine Airlines or Air Philippines at the Manila Domestic Airport to Legazpi City. Then take a rented van or bus for a 100-kilometer two-hour scenic drive to Irosin,or the connecting bus or jeepney ride from Legazpi to Sorsogon,and then Sorsogon to Irosin.

By Land:
From various southbound bus terminals in Manila. Take the following bus companies that goes directly to Irosin: Philtranco,Elavil Transport,Peñafrancia Tours,Silverstar Lines,BLTB,CUL and AMA Transportation,or take any Visayas-bound bus and alight at Irosin for a 12-hour trip. Night and day trips are available from Ali Mall-Cubao and Pasay stations.

FROM VISAYAS

By Sea-Land:
Take ferry boats from Allen,Samar to Matnog,Sorsogon. Then take jeepneys that ply the Matnog-Irosin route for a 30-minute ride.

LOCAL TRANSPORTATION

The mode of transportation in the inter-barangay mobility of people and products in Irosin are mainly tricycles and jeepneys. Jeepneys and bus lines ply the inter-town as well as inter-province routes.
