As part of the His Art,Our Heart multi-museum retrospective on the country's first ever National Artist,the exhibit features rarely seen paintings and drawings of Fernando Amorsolo amassed from institutional and private collections. In this series of the retrospective,all works are invariably contextualized within the rhythm of rice production and consumption. The exhibit runs from September 26,2008 to January 13,2009 at the Metropolitan Museum Of Manila.
