The journey from Tagudin to Banawe consists of three separate legs about 3 to 3 1/2 hours long.

From Tagudin,travel 67 km along the Besang Pass to Cervantes. Then ride 70 km through Sagada to Bontoc. From Bontoc,a total of 93 km gets you to Banawe.

An alternate Tagudin-Banawe route consists of two 3-hour rides: from Tagudin to Cervantes (67 km) via Besang Pass,then 54 km from Cervantes to Sagada.

The second leg has two routes:
The shorter of the two sees one ride from Banaue to Kabayan; one then journeys 52 km to Bokod (1 1/2 hours). The distance from Bokod to Baguio is 85 km,a 3-hour ride.

The longer route begins from Sagada: 74 km and 2 hours to Abatan,1 1/2 hours and 43 km to Kabayan,52 km and 1 1/2 hours to Bokod,and finally 85 km and 3 hours to Baguio.
