Maite Point is every underwater photographer's dream. With a shallow depth of only 15 meters,it is the ideal place for discovering macro life with species like the mandarin fish,Pegasus, nudibranches, the Spanish dancer, ribbon eel and barracuda. During night dives, the view remains fantastic, and its marine life becomes more daring; the cuttle fish, large sea slugs and octopus, are friendlier and out in the open.
It is recommended dive times at Maite point are during sunset or early in the evening.

Getting there..

By air:
One may book a flight from Manila to Dumaguete City; Siquijor is a short ferry ride from Dumaguete City.

By sea:
One may opt to take the fast ferries (Supercat or Delta) sometimes directly to Larena,Siquijor,or more often via Dumaguete City.
