Patopat   (Others, Pangasinan, Luzon)


INGREDIENTS:

  • 1-1/2 cup  Malagkit rice
  • 4 pcs Panotsa
  • 6 cups Water

Wash and soak malagkit rice in tap water for 4 hours.  Prepare coco-basket using young coconut leaves.  Drain malagkit and fill coco-basket 3/4 full.  Make as syrup out of panotsa and water.  Put coco-baskets and syrup in a kettle and boil until malagkit is cooked.
