INGREDIENTS:
- 1 small chicken,cleaned and cut into 6 servings
- 2 tbsp cooking oil
- 1 tsp garlic,crushed
- 1/4 cup tomatoes,sliced
- 2 cups water
- 2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 2 tbsp onion,sliced
- 1 bundle tanglad,sufficient to close open end of tube
Saute garlic,onion and corn. Add water and season with salt. Allow to boil until corn is tender. Drop pieces of dalag together with bamboo shoots. Cover and cook for 15 minutes. Add saluyot leaves. Cook for 3 minutes. Add patola and cook for 4 minutes longer.
