Take the Montenegro Ferry to Abra in Mindoro Occidental which is a travel time of 2 hours from the Batangas City port. The schedules are at 4am,8am,12 noon and 4pm. A big bike is charged about P750,while a passenger is about P200. They can be reached at 043 7238294. You need to bring copies of OR and CR of your bike.
Ride to Mamburao and from here ride for 2 hours over rough roads to the town of Sablayan which is 87 kms. The route to take is the one that goes up to Amnay barrio.
From Sablayan ride on to San Jose which is 82 kms of dusty road with good views of the sea. Spend the rest of the day and sleep in a local hotel such as the White House Safari Hotel (tel. 043 491 1656) or the Sikatuna Beach Resort (043 491 2182).
The next morning the ride objective is to go past Calapan for another 53 kms of rough road rides to a waterfalls. San Jose to Magsaysay town is 14 kms of rough road and loose stones. Magsaysay to Bulalakao is 38 kms with very rough road. It should take about 1 hour and 45 minutes for this stretch alone. Then Bulalakao to Mansalay is a 29 km stretch of cemented road. Mansalay to Socorro ins 96 kms of flat surface. Socorro to Naujan View Park is only 15 kms of asphalt road. From here to Victoria is 12 kms with a view of the lake. Victora to Calapan Junction is 31 kms or rolling,rough road. Calapan junction to Baco is 10 kms of rough road. Baco to San Teodoro is 15 kms of rough roads as well. and San Teodoro to Aninuan is 28 kns of rough roads. This day 2 should take about 6 to 7 hours of riding.
