Quadrel (Limestone,Lake,Lagoons,Live Corals)
Beach 91 is a white sand beach where first time snorklers are oriented on the use of the gear. Kayangan Lake,awarded as the "Cleanest and greenest Lake in the Philippines is a place where a short hike leads halfway to a cave opening,then onwards to the lake,where swimmers/snorklers can view the translucent water and white sand floor of the lake. Twin Lagoons,as the name implies are two lagoons separated by an arc formed by karst limestone slabs; the challenge is to cross towards the other lagoon passing under the arc; it is advisable to use snorkeling gears for one to feel and see the thermocline,juvenile tuna (alumahan),goatfish,and others. Siete Pecados Marine Park is one of the successful samples of marine conservation; being a protected area,one can witness by snorkeling,good and recovering coral reefs,stocks of fishes,and other marine life.
Culion Crusade (Historical walk and Pristine Beach)
A historical walk in Culion town to a 17thC Spanish Church and Fort,and view the era's relics in the Museum. Then by mid-day travel to Malcapuya Island enjoying sun and sand at its 300m stretch of fine white sand beach that is definitely postcard material.Snorklers may also see seagrass,red algae,giant clams,blue-spotted rays,(Nemo) clownfish,(Dory) blue tang,juvenile barracudas,and good reefs. Upon going back to Coron,the boat operator can be requested to pass the nearby Banana Island and Malaroyroy Islets for photography and aesthetic viewing.
Paradise (Sun & Sand)
A day-long stay at Malcapuya Island to enjoy the sun and sand at its 300m stretch offine white sand beach that is definitely postcard material. Snorklers may also seeseagrass,red algae,giant clams,blue-spotted rays,(Nemo) clownfish,(Dory) bluetang,juvenile barracudas,and good reefs.
S-Trio (Safari,Sand,and Sunset)
Witness "Africa in Asia" in a safari-type adventure to the Calauit Wildlife Sanctuary,where one can see island-born giraffes,zebras,and other African animals the progenies of the first translocation experiment in Asia. Aside from the animal interaction involved,one can also hear or see endemic and indigent birds,reptiles,and the protected species like the Calamian Deer,Palawan Bearcat,and Philippine Mousedeer. By mid-day,travel west by boat to the mystifying Black Island,a smaller version of Coron island,and view its white-sand beach and marine life. The boat shall also pass by Busuanga Town's West Coast Islets for photography and aesthetic viewing as the sun slowly sets on the horizon.
Mariner's Park (Theme Park in the Sea)
This package takes the guests within the Lusong-Sangat Marine Park,where it features the following: The Lusong Gunboat is a relic of a Japanese seacraft sunk during WWII,corals and other marine now bound along its structure. Coral Gardens is a beautiful array of several coral species at the periphery of Sangat Island; one may even peep through the island crevices and witness the karst structure. Within the island is the Sangat Island Reserve,a tourist resort where guests may use the picnic tables for lunch (by arrangement) and may swim or kayak along its beach. The Decalve Marine Sanctuary,located at the northern part of the island is another product of conservation efforts,where one can see an extensive protected coral reef and associated marine life.
Reef Checked (Living Aquaria)
Be an instant para-marine biologist in this package. Guests may be taught how to measure fish density and coral cover in the almost excellent coral colonies of Tantangen Reefs and Calumbuyan Reefs. For the more adventurous types,kayaking may be done along the crystal waters of the Kaniki Mangroves,and observing the extensive mangrove forest structure including associated wildlife like birds,bats,etc.
Town Tour (Coron Sightseeing)
Spend a relaxing afternoon in Coron town,where one can view the entire Coron town and the spectacular Coron Bay from Mt. Tapyas; visit the Mabentangen River and Cabo Beach; go souvenir and pasalubong shopping at the town; and have a sumptuous dinner at Maquinit Hot Spring. Absolutely the best way to end your Coron/Calamianes adventure!
