The islands can be reached in an about 30 to 45 minute motorboat ride from Mercedes town proper. The major attractions in these islands are its clean white beaches,corrals,underwater sceneries,rock formations,and fish sanctuary. Additional come-ons are scenic landscapes and seascapes,the attractive lighthouse in Canimog Island,unexplored Canton cave,and the different types of seashells and tropical fishes that abound. The place is good for island hopping,swimming,bird watching,boating,snorkeling,trekking,scuba diving,jet skiing,spear fishing,and other related activities.
How to get there:
By land: The province is accessible by land through passenger transport services going to and from Metro Manila and neighboring provinces. Take the bus liner that goes to the Bicol Region,or a private car. It is about a 7-8 hour car ride.
