Talabaan Islands   (Padre Burgos, Quezon Province, Luzon)

Talabaan Islands are two islands located off the shore of Padre Burgos town. The bigger of the two,Malaking Talabaan,is a favorite jump-off point to the beraches of Padre Burgos and the neighboring town of Pagbilao. Situated along Laguimanoc Bay where oyster culture is suitable. The smaller island Maliit na Talabaan,is a rock formation jutting out of the sea. What makes this island unique is that the rocks seem to have been curiously arranged and piled. It also called the vanishing islet during high tide it was submerged in water.

How to get there:

The province of Quezon is accessible from Manila and its neighboring provinces via a network of roads regularly plied by various bus lines such as the Batangas-Laguna-Tayabas-Bus Co. (BLTB),Tritran,JAM,JAC Liner,Philtranco,and Superlines. Lucena,the capital of Quezon Province is 3 to 4 hours-bus ride from Metro Manila.
