Tubbattaha Reef   (Cagayancillo, Palawan, Luzon)

For serious divers,a trip to Tubbattaha Reef,right in the middle of the Sulu Sea,is a must. Declared as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1993,Tubbattaha Reef is the only national marine park in the country with an abundant population of marine life such as sharks,bar­racudas,manta rays and sea turtles.

How to get there:

It is accessible by plane from Manila to Puerto Princesa take a 70 min flight.  A boat ride from the city takes about 10 to 12 hours.
