For serious divers,a trip to Tubbattaha Reef,right in the middle of the Sulu Sea,is a must. Declared as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1993,Tubbattaha Reef is the only national marine park in the country with an abundant population of marine life such as sharks,barracudas,manta rays and sea turtles.
How to get there:
It is accessible by plane from Manila to Puerto Princesa take a 70 min flight. A boat ride from the city takes about 10 to 12 hours.
