The endless number of stores and bazaars that offer a wide variety of knick knacks,clothes,and anything and everything from food to pets is one big temptation for one who is looking for a way to spend.  However,not all purchases need be expensive.  In fact,some enjoyment can be drawn from making good buys of inexpensive items.  Whatever the case,a haggler or big-time spender can feel at home in the many tiangges and shopping centers all around.

Metro Manila
    Baclaran   (Manila, Metro Manila, Luzon) Aside from the church which is famous for devotees,many knick knacks may also be found in the Baclaran area.  Clothes,shoes,and toys may be bought at very cheap prices.  Whole sales are also possible.    Location Baclaran,Manila   How to Get There Jeepneys along Taft Avenue reach Baclaran.  The LRT also has it as the last stop.  Private vehicles may also be used but parking spaces may not be that easy to come by.

    Divisoria   (Manila, Metro Manila, Luzon) If one has the patience for large crowds and crammed spaces,Divisoria is ideal for finding really cheap purchases of clothes,accessories and even food.  Going to Divisoria is ideal for one who wants to buy wholesale as discounts may even be lessen the prices more but single buys are also less expensive compared to other places in the metro.   Location Binondo,Manila   How to Get There By public transportation,jeepneys and FX vehicles go to Divisoria from various points in Manila and especially from Taft Avenue.  If one goes by private transportation,finding a parking space may prove difficult or far from the main market area.

    Greenhills Shopping Center   (San Juan, Metro Manila, Luzon) All year-long,stalls sell clothing items,shoes,cellular phones and even jewelry in Greenhills.  But aside from these,the whole complex houses the usual retailers,restaurants and fast food chains that can be found in malls.   Location Ortigas Avenue,San Juan   How to Get There Buses and jeepneys from Quiapo/Cainta pass by the Greenhills Shopping Center.  Taxis are also easy to access.  Parking spaces for private vehicles are available in different areas within the vicinity.    

    Metrowalk   (Pasig, Metro Manila, Luzon) Originally known as a restaurant complex,the Metrowalk has expanded to include a building with stalls that sell mostly clothes.    Location Meralco Avenue,Pasig City   How to Get There Buses for Cainta/Quiapo pass by Ortigas Avenue and from there,the Metrowalk is only a short walking distance.  Private vehicles can pass by Meralco Avenue,Julio Vargas or Ortigas.  

    SM Mall of Asia   (Manila, Metro Manila, Luzon) Considered as the third largest mall in Asia,this complex has all the stores that one can ask for in the city.  Restaurants are also much varied,combining fine dining with fast food and stall food options.  During weekends,firework displays are also conducted every 7pm for everyone's entertainment.   Location Roxas Boulevard at the end of EDSA   How to Get There Public buses to Baclaran pass by SM Mall of Asia.  Jeepneys from Taft Avenue also traverse the long stretch of EDSA and provide walking distance stops to the mall.  Parking spaces are also many for private vehicles.

    St. Francis Square   (Mandaluyong City, Metro Manila, Luzon) Located near major shopping malls,St. Francis Square offers alternative purchases through its various stalls.  It also has kiosks that offer services for cellular phone repair as well as street food.   Location Julia Vargas Avenue,at the back of Megamall   How to Get There Very accessible from different parts of the Metropolis,one can get to St. Francis Square through FX vehicles that pass by Ortigas Center.  From EDSA,buses also stop by Megamall and from here,the Square is within walking distance. Private vehicles are also viable options.

    Tiendesitas   (Pasig, Metro Manila, Luzon) Perceived by many as having been inspired by the bazaars in Bangkok,Thailand,Tiendesitas has many stalls for different needs such as clothes,food,pet nessecities and other hobbies.  It also has a central area where performances are held.   Location Tiendesitas Compound,Pasig City   How to Get There By private transportation,one can turn right after Ortigas Avenue along C5 Libis South bound.
