Rock climbing is a relatively new sport to the Philippines,but it's spreading fast. There are already active climbing scenes in Manila and other major cities. Quality equipment are available in many outdoor shops,and there are excellent climbing sites only hours from the city of Manila itself.


Negros Oriental

Quezon Province
    Atimonan Rockclimbing    (Atimonan, Quezon Province, Luzon) This place is an abandoned rock quarry 165km south of Manila.
Rizal
    Puting-Bato(White Rock) Cogeo   (Montalban, Rizal, Luzon) Handholds and footholds are solid,and the rock is completely clear of vegetation.

    Wawa Gorge   (Montalban, Rizal, Luzon) This 400m-deep limestone gorge has a surprisingly wild feel and  there are different routes rated from 5.8 to 5.11.
